It is an alder body, H/S (JB and Little 59'), bolt-on Maple
neck, Ebony fretboard with MOP topset inlays. Thin U neck like the current
M-IIs. Very quick neck for sure. It has gold hardware and the tuners just say
Made in Japan,
but they have a good ratio and are solid. The bridge is an ESP Synclair, and
for those who do not know, they are equal to or better than Official Floyd
Roses. If you wanted to you could easily
just drop in a Floyd Rose as the routing and posts are exactly the same.
There are only two tiny nicks in it on the body that are
just in the clear coat, and a fingernail indent on the neck around the 3rd
fret, but you can not feel it when playing. The frets are flat, but are still
playable. This thing is still easy to
play and the neck is clean, as you can see in the pics, yet has that awesome
worn in feel.
This is a classic, authentic fully custom-made 48th St guitar from
back in, what was told to me when I bought it, made in either 90' or 91', and
91' was the last year for the 48th
This comes with a hardshell case, and the original gold
Synclair trem arm.
